• Rehau UK Limited instructed B8 Real Estate to advise on the relocation of their main UK Distribution Centre in Widnes.
• Rehau is a global company manufacturing polymer based products for the construction, automotive and industry. In the UK, Rehau operate two major manufacturing facilities with their HQ in Ross-on-Wye.
• The distribution facility in Widnes was the subject of redevelopment and Rehau needed to relocate. B8 were instructed to undertake a comprehensive search to locate alternative sites and buildings.
• We produced a short list of existing buildings and build to suit opportunities and underwent a tender process between existing Landlords and developers. Negotiations were concluded for an existing building which was secured on very attractive terms with an obligation on the developer to provide a new service yard area on adjacent land.
• B8 were able to use their extensive market knowledge to benchmark the proposals from developers against the existing buildings and were able to advise on deliverability, deal structure, planning and rental value.
