Brackley Property Developments Acquires Prime Development Site at Omega

Oxfordshire based developer, Brackley Property Developments, have acquired a 4.67 acre development site on the Omega North site adjacent to the entrance to Travis Perkins.  The site is going to be promoted for design and build industrial/distribution to accommodate units from 50,000 sq ft to a maximum single unit of 92,000 sq ft.

The site is the last plot on the northern side of Omega which is currently the home to high profile occupiers Travis Perkins, Hermes and Brakes.  The adjoining Omega South is home to Asda, The Hut Group, Plastics Omnium.

Joint Managing Director of Brackley Property Developments, Stephen Pedrick-Moyle, commented “we are very excited about our first site acquisition in the North West and believe we have acquired the most high profile prime site of its size in the region.”

BPD have appointed Cushman & Wakefield and B8 Real Estate to market the site on their behalf and Jonathan Thorne of B8 Real Estate commented “We are pleased to be promoting this very high profile site fronting the M62 and have been encouraged by the early interest shown by occupiers and hope to secure an occupier with a view to being on site in early 2017.  We have decided to promote the site as Omega Point and will be launching a full marketing campaign along with progressing detailed discussions with occupiers and their representatives in September.”
